OTHER ACTIVITIES

Our club is located near the seafront of Las Cucharas bay. Surrounded by beautiful palm trees and a sheltered sandy beach, the Watersport Center faces the main windsurfing spot. Join us and have some fun in and on the water:

• Experienced instructors in watersport activities
• Stand Up Paddles (SUP) to rent and lessons
• Bodyboards
• Skimboards
• Snorkling equipment
• Three man Catamaran with spinaker and skipper
• Hawaiian OC4 (Piragua) - Organised group rental

SUP and Kayack are gratis if you have rented the windsurfing equipment (packages) or if you have booked a windsurfing course!

THE VOLCANOES

This is an amazing experience and a unique walk through lava fields and young craters. You will experience a large variaty of shapes and colours. The extent of the mountains and lava fields is just incredible.

THE NORTH: LA CORONA VOLCANO AND FAMARA CLIFF

This area is the greenest part of the island. Just the drive up to the starting point is a pleasure. La Corona is a huge single cone volcano: its depth is impressive. Get ready for the best views of your life. It is surprising to discover how rich it is the fauna in this part of the island.

LA GRACIOSA ISLAND

This is the island you see from La Corona, a true desert island. Robert Louis Stevenson sat on the cliffs watching La Graciosa and started to write his masterpiece called "Treasure Island". If you wish to take a day off from windsurfing, you should really visit the beauty of this island. It is like travelling back in time as it is a nature reserve. A real peaceful place.

MOUNTAIN BIKE

We offer a very pleasant tour starting at the club and taking you to the wild side of the island. The tour takes you away from civilisation into the quiet. It is incredible to experience that in just 15 minutes you will be away from everything. The snack break is in a traditional salt works (salinas) with a lovely small harbour where you can even go for a swim.

We all love surfing because Lanzarote offers some of the best waves you can find in the Canarian Islands! Volcano Surf, the surf school next to our windsurfing club, organizes everyday surf trips to the best locations on the island, like Famara or La Santa. Enjoy a day off from windsurfing and go and catch some waves. As the groups are always back around 15 pm, you can still go windsurfing in the afternoon!
